Mailing list. If you join the mailing list, we collect your email address, the date and time you gave consent, and the wording you agreed to. We use it to send you updates from Greatman Takit about new music, shows and news. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form — it is never pre-ticked — and can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us.

The mailing list is not yet connected to an email service. Until it is, the form on this site does not send your address anywhere and no addresses are stored. This policy will be updated with the provider’s name before the list goes live.

Technical data. Like every website, this one is served by a hosting provider — Netlify, Inc. (United States) — whose servers automatically log the IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of each request. We use this to run and secure the site. YouTube. Videos are embedded through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). No request is made to Google until you press play. Once you do, YouTube (Google LLC) receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy. The video poster frames are served from this site, not from YouTube.

Links to other services. This site links out to Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, YouTube and YouTube Music, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Deezer, Amazon Music, orcd.co (the smart link for the current album). Following a link takes you to that service, whose own privacy policy applies. This site sends them nothing until you click.

Fonts. The typefaces are served from this site’s own domain. No request is made to Google Fonts or any other font service.

Our hosting provider is based in the United States, so technical data is processed outside Nigeria.
